Mocca is a five-year-old rescue, and she is the reason this club exists. Like most people with a dog, we spent years with the same worry every time we had to leave the house: a trip, a dinner out, a long day at work. Who stays with Mocca? At home she has her younger sister keeping her company (a cat, and a very good one), but we know most dogs don’t have that.
The options never felt right. Big daycares were crowded with dogs we knew nothing about. Kennels were never on the table. Sitting apps meant trusting a stranger with the one we love most.
So we made the place we would want to leave her in. A few dogs at a time, all of them getting real attention, and always someone home. Our house has a big open space with sun and shade, and an inside with air conditioning, a good couch and plenty of toys.
We both love animals more than is probably reasonable, and we have learned that every dog has its own little ways. If you need somewhere for yours every now and then, we would be glad to help.
